About My Academic Life & Civil Engineering Journey


From the very beginning of my academic life, I have been driven by curiosity, problem-solving, and a passion for building solutions that last. My journey into Civil Engineering has been shaped by both rigorous classroom learning and practical field experience.

During my studies, I mastered core subjects such as surveying, structural analysis, construction materials, and project management. Hands-on experiences like university survey camp, internships, and research projects allowed me to apply theoretical knowledge in real-world scenarios—enhancing my technical skills, teamwork, and adaptability.

As a civil engineer, I am deeply motivated to contribute to infrastructure that is not only strong and functional but also sustainable and environmentally responsible. My vision is to combine engineering expertise with innovative thinking to design and construct projects that improve communities and stand the test of time.


Survey Camp – Practical Field Experience :

During my university survey camp, I gained hands-on experience with a range of essential surveying techniques and modern equipment, enhancing both my technical skills and practical understanding. Key activities included:


  • Plain Table Surveying (Radiation Method): Conducted detailed mapping using the radiation method for accurate representation of terrain features.


  • Fly Leveling (Rise and Fall Method): Measured and calculated elevation differences with precision for topographic profiling.


  • Close Traverse with Total Station: Formed a closed traverse to determine areas and boundaries, ensuring accuracy through error adjustment.


  • Triangulation Method with Total Station: Applied triangulation techniques for precise area calculations over irregular terrain.


  • Direct Area Calculation with Total Station: Performed rapid and efficient area measurements using advanced instrument functions.


  • Road Profile Determination with Auto Level: Collected and analyzed leveling data to create longitudinal road profiles.


  • Simple Curve Setting (Deflection Angle Method): Set out curves accurately for road alignment using the deflection angle method.


  • Height Measurement of Inaccessible Points: Utilized trigonometric principles and instruments to determine elevations of hard-to-reach features.


  • Contouring with Auto Level: Created contour maps to represent landform elevations for planning and design purposes.


  • GPS Observations Study: Explored GPS technology applications in surveying for enhanced positional accuracy.


This fieldwork allowed me to develop a strong command of surveying instruments, data collection methods, and the application of engineering principles to real-world site conditions.
